Marvel and Netflix had this one in the bag for a while as Luke Cage said recently, and it seems with Daredevil set to grace our TV screens soon, no time better than the present for Marvel + Netflix to reveal who is set to play Iron Fist.

Finn Jones, known for his role as Ser Loras Tyrell, The Knight of Flowers on Game Of Thrones, has has been cast in the lead in Marvel’s Iron Fist.

The English actor will playing Daniel Rand, with Dexter‘s Scott Buck is serving as Iron Fist‘s showrunner
Synopsis reads:

Returning to New York City after being missing for years, Daniel Rand fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.

The Iron Fist series is set to be the fourth Marvel / Netflix projects, culminating to The Defenders series

“So what do you guys think of the casting. I’m not too sure, already feels very ‘The Last Samurai’-level appropriation. An Asian actor would have subverted the whole ‘Yellow Fever’ paradigms the 80s bombarded us with. But what do you think? Let us know in the comment section or Twitter @TheActionPixel
