“Pokémon”‘s Pikachu takes up sleuthing in new Sherlock Holmes-inspired game
Japan goes British with a bizarre title that merged the worlds of Pokémon with the classics literature of Sherlock Holmes. The results, Sherlock Pikachu.
Nintendo’s Japan-only title is called Famous Detective Pikachu: The Birth of a New Partnership. Detective Pikachu is described as “smug” and a “wise-cracking” sleuth, and he partners up with Tim to solve a dastardly mystery.

The game is set to be a Nintendo 3DS download-only title.
