Mighty Morphin Power Rangers reveal White Ranger cover and release date

It was recently that BOOM! revealed a comic series set for release featuring the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which featured individual covers for the individual members of the team. BOOM! released six exclusive one-page comics that were distributed at Comic-Con International: San Diego this year, each featuring one of the different Rangers.

The coming first issue of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will include a short story written by Mairghread Scott (Transformers: Windblade) and illustrated by Daniel Bayliss (Translucid), which first debuted at San Diego Comic Con.

Now BOOM! has released an image of the infamous White Ranger and news on the release date.

The series will feature the writing talents of Kyle Higgins (Batman Eternal, Nightwing), but there is no word on the artist as of yet.
