Harewood definitely know his comics, and touches on his ‘indestructible’ character who he teases will become Cyborg Superman:

He’s a bit of a supervillain. He seems pretty indestructible. Which I kind of like because I keep getting blown up in these things. I’m kind of looking forward to being indestructible.

We think DC will probably go with Hank Henshaws more recent reimagining of his origin story, where Hank is an astronaut whose crew and himself become befallen by tragedy to which he blames Supes. Ends up dying, but not before transferring his mind and consciousness in a ‘birthing matrix’, ie how all Kryptonian are born, and becomes Cyborg Superman. Yeah, some far out sh*t.
