No exact timeline re the release of the series to the Western public, but Sentai Filmworks plan to distribute firstly through select digital outlets, then followed by DVD / BluRay release.

triage x banner. the action pixel. @theactionpixelThe anime is based on Shoji Sato’s original manga. That’s the guy who also did a lot of artwork on the Highschool of the Dead manga, which also go made into an anime. Sweet, sweet bodacious anime. So as you expect, Triage X anime delivers the pulp by the orchard-full.

Synopsis reads:

Mochizuki General Hospital boasts some of the most well-trained (and well-endowed) nurses in town. But though these ladies spend much of their day battling disease, their after-hours are spent fighting a very different sort of sickness… Under the leadership of the hospital chairman, a handful of staff members and local teenagers form a group of mercenary assassins, targeting the “cancers” of society and excising those individuals before their wickedness spreads.

Sexy, sexy times. Will definitely be looking forward to this one. But if you can’t wait, the series so far is being streamed via Crunchyroll.com, definitely worth a gander.
