Ironman V Captain America Civil WarIron Man aka Tony Stark doesn’t seem to be making friends in Captain America 3: Civil War or in the coming Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Going against the strongest there is (Hulk) and America’s posterboy (the Cap’n). It just doesn’t matter what suit he wears, Hulkbuster or not, he’s bound to still come up more of a douche.

If the official Avengers trailer and TV spot weren’t enough to show how millionaire Tony Starks is rubbing everyone the wrong way, then maybe the revealed character motivation of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver may shed even more light.

The action pixel. @theactionpixelThe brother and sister tag-team have beef with the tin man, mainly because of his gunrunning, weapons-manufacturing days, and they face off with him, and by association, the Avengers to settle the score. Elizabeth Olsen, the actress to portray the Scarlet Witch went into more detail as on the motivation of her character as well as Quicksilver’s, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson:

Our characters [Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver] have a lot of anger, especially towards Tony Stark, and we want revenge. We meet Ultron, and he’s someone who preaches peace and… believes what we believe, which is that the Avengers create destruction and that Tony Stark’s bomb is responsible for killing our parents.

Yeesh. No more for an incestuous relationship then like in the comics with all that anger to vent? But we forgot, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch aren’t related anymore, in the comics anyway. In any case, we all could do with a little Marvel-styled speed and chaos magic. Can’t let The Flash and Constantine have all the fun.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron is set for release in cinemas May 1st 2015
