Marvel employs Ex-WWE wrestler as comic writer

Wrestling may be fake but this ex-WWE wrestler’s new job title isn’t. CM Punk, the once WWE star has a new gig flexing his pen game writing for Marvel, Thor even! A great opportunity for the avid comic reader, particularly considering its is his official first comic writing assignment. He had this to say from Marvel:

“I’m definitely prepared to fall flat on my face, I think. If anything, [wrestling] got me used to understanding that failure is part of a process…technically this is my first comic book writing assignment, and I’m writing Thor if we never get another assignment from Marvel, then we have to write and/or draw as many Marvel characters as we possibly can”

We wish the guy luck, and hope to see some new, young indie writers in addition to CM Punk too joining the Marvel roster.
