New “DOOM”, classic 8-bit secret levels

Secret levels in the new Bethesda game will give a nod to the classic levels of the 1993 version of the game

There has been a certain occult map within the new DOOM game that holds up a tribute to the classic narrow 8-bit corridors that made the game a classic in the 90’s

The easter egg includes the classic DOOM monotonous 8-bit textured grey walls and tight corridors that made us gamers forever paranoid.

id Software’s Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin gives us a walkthrough of how each mission in the game will have a hidden lever that, when pulled, opens a door somewhere else in the level giving access to a new area.
