myst. the action pixel . @theactionpixelAll the 90’s kids will remember this first person video game that made us get all ‘Nancy Drew’ on an enigmatic island in the middle of what we assume was the Bermuda Triangle. We are of course talking about the 1993 PC game Myst.

Well, Myst is being adapted by Hulu as a live action series, being produced by Matt Tolmach (The Amazing Spider-Man and Sinister Six) and being scripted by Evan Daugherty (Divergent).

Myst is set to blend “…elements of science fiction and fantasy. It will explore the origins of the island of Myst from the game where a man wakes up on a mystery island with absolutely no idea who he is, where is, or how he got there”.

The games available via Steam and mobile platforms, so it still has a bit of relevance today, and it would be quite interesting to see how it all translates to a series. Something outside of Lost.

“So what do you think peoples?! Bit of a sleuth thriller to speak to the curiosity in us? Or will a previous lengthy ‘Lost’ and reality tv shows overshadow its potential for being viewed as original? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section”
