Grand Theft Auto V‘s Unexplained Mystery

Conspiracies. They are the stuff of the internet’s underbelly. Stuff to make you think “that’s absurd”. To those other theories that have you preying to God wishing you had a prepper friend with an extra AK-47 and space in his bunker made in the cavity of an old-missile silo.

But Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V has some hidden conspiracies of it’s own. By now gamers would probably have come across the religious cult that is the Epsilon Programme, where you’ll have to do a bunch of crappy tasks and give lots of money in a mission to travel an enlightened path. But none more mysterious has appeared in GTA V than the mural atop Mount Chiliad:

But what the hell does it mean. Obviously Rockstar wants you to figure out, as is common in GTA games that sometning this visible and cryptic and existent at the summit of some large feature in the game is a reward or information leading to greater reward. Plus side missions are about 30% of the GTA experience. One suggestion, it is a picture of god. Or, more likely, when juxtaposed with the game map may reveal the location of some neat trinket or two:

You can make out where points of the mural correlates with the UFO artefact findings on the map.
