DCUO Amazon Fury Part II DLC

Sony unveils the next chapter via DLC in the DCU Online game Amazon Fury Part II, available for download on Playstation 3 and 4, as well as PC.

In Part I, Wonder Woman had to play peace ambassador between Gotham and Paradise Island, as the Amazon queen Hippolyta blamed earth for Braniac ruining her home. Things obviously get out of hand as Wonder Woman rouses a battalion of Amazonian women to essentially make a stand against her own mother in defence of earth.

Now things are sure to intensify with Amazon Fury Part II. Wonder Woman is going back to her roots, fighting not metahuman criminals but going toe-to-toe with gods and creatures of divine mythology, including battling Circe and the Amazon queen, Hippolyta. But this here DLC adds a bit of family drama and tension into the mix, with the arrival of Ares and Hades. We haven’t not hidden our desire to see a Wonder Woman Vs Daddy battle, albeit on film, but this seems like about as close as we will get for now.

The Amazon War continues, and with the arrival of the powerful Gods, Ares and Hades, the War has spread beyond the mortal realm. In Amazon Fury Part II, players must battle alongside Wonder Woman or Circe through the depths of the shadowy underworld to discover what really happened to the Amazon Queen, Hippolyta.

Apart from Ares and Hades debuting on the game, fans can expect a variety of single and multiplayer adventures, including three eight-player raids (Labyrinth of Lost Souls, Halls of Hades & Throne of the Dead), two four-player operations (Return to the Nexus & Act of Defiance) and one single-player mission (Heroes and Villains will be tasked with an important single-player mission in the open-world, Gotham Under Siege version of Gotham City).

This DC Universe Online DLC pack will be the 13th care package for the game, and will be available for download early this year.
