While we had a lovely taste of Bloodborne‘s gameplay at the EXG Rezzed 2015 event in London, it seems that we can expect some challenging missions come release date. The exclusive PS4 title has a “New Game Plus” mode that has proven to be even challenging to the creators themselves.

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the project director of action-RPG Bloodborne when asked about the new mode is quoted as saying:

Yes, there will be a New Game Plus mode. We’re having trouble beating it, though.

The hardened difficulty mode is unlocked when players complete the Bloodborne campaign for the first time.

Bloodborne is a spiritual successor to the Dark Souls game series and continues the tradition of pretty difficult gameplay that make for a pretty strong hardcore cult game followers.

Bloodborne release date was pushed back recently to March 24th in the US and March 27th in the UK
