iNK Stories releases their official trailer for a decisional game. Which, in the era of Telltale games, shouldn’t be that big a surprise. But 1979 Revolution has something unique going for it; the game is inspired by historical events that lead to the uprising in Iran against King Shah in, well, 1979.

Director Navid Khonsari, who has worked for companies like Remedy and Rockstar, plans to up the ante with this game. The narrative follows the Reza, an aspiring photojournalist whose objectivity behind the lens is no longer a safe haven for indifference as he is forced to choose sides and becomes entangle in political strife that makes him both friends and enemies.
