With the trailer that was admittedly epic (being 50 percent slow-motion and emotive-less), news comes from on high that Wonder Woman is up for reshoots.

It is being reported that “whilst the film wrapped in May, the cast and crew are heading back for reshoots in around two weeks’ time”.

If these reshoots are part of their contingency or will push back the official release date of the film is still unclear however.

Now commonly, this would not be much of an issue or newsworthy. But with recent news surrounding rumours of WB executives’ attitude towards DC films, most recently The Batman; it is rumoured that when script descrepencies were highlighted the WB execs were happy with moving ahead. And to be fair narrative and character motivations were Suicide Squad and BVS‘s most compromised issues.

One has to truly wonder if this will be yet another film erected on an already flimsy DC cinematic universe that will be more flash than substance.
Not to mention The Flash losing its director, it just seems WB + DC have had a bad week heaped onto a long going poor reputation.

And we could go into Gal Gadot portrayal of the hero, but we’re past the point of no return.
