Arguably Daredevil (Season 1 especially) has been the highest, truly defining moment for the Marvel + Netflix partnership that set a lot of balls rolling and expectations high. And integral to this was the casting of the legendary Marvel crime boss Wilson Fisk, portrayed by Vincent D’Onofrio.

Now the actor is set to return as the prolific King Pin in the third season of Daredevil, and with the many shifts being made on the corporate side of things in Hell’s Kitchen, we’re sure he’ll be keen on consolidating his power once more and give hell to Murdock and Daredevil. Well, until he somehow figures out they are one in the same.

Executive Producer Jeph Loeb spoke on the news;

Vincent is an exceptional actor who returns with the incredible gravitas he brings to Fisk. We’re very excited how Marvel’s Daredevil develops through the creative lens and guidance of our new showrunner, Erik Oleson.

And seeing season 3 may be bringing us a version of “Born Again”, we may be in for a treat.

More as things develop.
