Tom Hardy reported set to produce and star in Vertigo’s 100 Bullets

Looks like Hardy is taking another stab at the comic book film, reportedly producing and set tot star in Vertigo’s own 100 Bullets film. New Line Cinema, being the home of DC’s edgier projects, is set to produce and distribute the film and 100 Bullets is well under development.

The script for the feature is penned by Chris Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes), which is already complete, and the Mad Max, ex-Suicide Squader is likely to take the role of Agent Graves. In the comic narrative arc, Agent Graves a special kind of gu with a special gift for those seeking vengeance. He gifts people with a a special gun complete with 100 untraceable bullets, giving the recipients a chance to enact vengeance on those that ruined their lives. Which is all fine and good. Personally, I’d need a chain gun and 1,000 bullets. A day.

As you know, New Line is working on other Vertigo / DC films, including Sandman, Swamp Thing and JLD.
