Star Trek / Green Lantern: The Spectrum War cover has Spock “Vulcan Mind-melding” GL

With Green Lanterns going AWOL or dying off due to the events spurred on by Convergence, we were happy to see the possibilities for the corp open up with the GL / Star Trek crossover series in the works.

Now we got a first look at a crossover cover for Star Trek / Green Lantern: The Spectrum War, showing Spock doing his mind-melding trick on Hal Jordon. Check it:

Set to be six-part episodic mini-series, Star Trek / Green Lantern: The Spectrum War looks to bring the two titanic franchises who have traversed the edges of the universe into one shared space. The series will be written by Mike Johnson and will have art by Angel Hernandez.

Description reads:

Set in Star Trek’s 23rd Century, the balance of the universe will be tested when the Green Lantern Corps’ Power Rings come into the possession of certain Star Trek characters while a dark and powerful evil looms around every corner. Only the combined power of the Green Lantern Corps and the Federation stand any chance of stopping those who worship evil’s might.
