Sigourney Weaver is the main villain in Marvel’s “The Defenders” Netflix series

Marvel TV does not care about other TV shows’ plans. It just want to dominate. And it becomes more apparent when they announced at NYCC that Alien and Avatar‘s Sigourney Weaver is slated to join the cast of The Defenders as the main villain.

She made a surprise entrance to the panel at NYCC alongside Charlie Cox from Daredevil, Krysten Ritter from Jessica Jones, Mike Colter from Luke Cage and Finn Jones from the coming Iron Fist. The news swiftly followed, confirming all the rumours that she was coming to the Marvel / Netflix universe.

Marvel’s Jeph Loeb spoke on the news:

Marvel is honored to have an actress of her caliber and status join what is already our biggest show ever! She is by definition a class act.

And more is there really to say. Nothing. Absolutely zilch.
