“Logan” image confirms X-23
The Logan trailer, which felt on so many levels more mature than all its predeecessors combined, teased one thing that had Marvel fans elated: the introduction of Laura Kinney, known in the Marvel comic verse as X-23. She is literally a clone derived from Wolverine’s DNA; the 23 signifies she is the successful 23rd attempt at the cloning process. Damn, poor 1 through 22.
X-23 surely signals a new generation of X-Men 20th Century Fox is sure to capitalise on.
