The digital streaming network Hulu pulled the trigger on a one-hour pilot of the Locke & Key series

The comic series, based on the work of writer Joe Hill and artist Gabriel Rodriguez, has none other than Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson to direct the first episode.

It is further reported in a Deadline article that Scott Derrickson will also be directing multiple episodes of Locke & Key Season 1 (provided if the pilot goes down well on Hulu of course). That coupled with the fact Derrickson is set to direct Doctor Strange 2 puts the director in some work for a good while.

More as things develop.
