Synopsis reads:

Fuelled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of meta-humans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

So it looks like Batman is converted… which kinda dashes our hopes a bit for a internal conflict and the type of Batman that’d study all the weaknesses of his teammates to take them down if necessary.

And just how light-hearted will this Batman be? Affleck explains… as best as he can:

He’s a little bit more sardonic, a little more irony. He’s a little more of a man on a mission this time. As opposed to, he was so full of anger because of what happened at the Black Zero Event. That sort of rage that possessed him. And now he’s on a mission to get this group together; to constitute this League. But more of that sort of Bruce Wayne, wry, ironic gallows humor comes out. He’s not like a ‘haha’ jokey, but that sort of stuff comes out a little bit. A bit of his darker humour is present.

But there are already ‘issues arising from the JL’s trajectory. DC creative executive Geoff Johns revealed on Twitter a couple weeks ago that the first film will just be called Justice League. As in not Part One. Worst off, Deborah Snyder has also been quoted as saying:

We’re only ever planning and we are only doing Justice League, just Justice League. One movie.

Which directly contradicts Director’s Zack Snyder’s understanding that that the 2nd film is still happening. Confusion, all confusion. Nothing more than WB testing the waters. Last thing they need is another devicive film like Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

Directed by Zack Snyder, this marks the big screen debut of the Justice League, featuring an all-star lineup: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher.

Justice League: Part One[?] is set for cinematic release on November 17th 2017
