When it comes to NetherRealm Studios + WB Games’ Injustice 2, they sure know how to put on an emotive trailer. And they by all appearances top it with this beautiful new trailer.

And indeed, the lines between good and evil are often blurry. And someone looks to be on the verge of redrawing them.

Description reads:

The line between hero and villain has become blurred as the most epic battle in the DC universe rages on in Injustice 2. While Batman has emerged the victor in his battle against the Regime, a new threat arises and poses the ultimate threat to Earth.

Sum up, lots of things happening there. The rivalry between Batman (Master) and Robin (Apprentice). Kara, possibly the only one who witnessed the death of her planet first hand and old enough to remember it. Superman’s loss (Lois and child?). Brainiac. And mother-fucking-Darkseid. Holy DC ensemble, Batman!
