Gal Gadot recently gave fans insight into the coming Snyderisms for the Wonder Woman film. And surprise surprise it’s dark:

In Batman v Superman, you get a glimpse of who she is but not where she comes from. In Wonder Woman, this would be the first time we ever tell the coming-of-age story of how Diana becomes Wonder Woman. It’s very interesting. It has moments of humor, but it’s pretty dark.

Wonder Woman will be released in theatres come June 23rd 2017

“It’s hard to differentiate whether ‘dark’ is just a filmic buzzword for ‘epic drama’ or if this is more an assimilation into the BVS paradigm.
