Matt Fraction and Kelly Sue DeConnick, comic books (probably) first famous comic couple creators have recently signed a major deal with Universal TV to adapt their comic series into live action. Among this is Eisner Award- and Harvey Award-winning comic Sex Criminals. But it’s not their own titles they will be developing for the screen, but also original TV series concepts.

Both Fraction and DeConnick have hefty resumes in comics whether by themselves or as a group, DeConnick being behind the influence on Captain Marvel, and her independent exploitation comic Bitch Planet. And Fraction, winning awards for much of his major and independent works, being a major consultant on the Iron Man 2 film, and having wrote an episode of FX’s beloved spy-spoof Archer.
