A Will Smith “Deadshot” movie is currently in development

With DC Comics + Warner Bros. fast tracking the development of Gotham City Sirens that will see Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn teaming up with Catwoman and Poison Ivy, it seems Suicide Squad is the new spin-off hub in the DCU.

No it has come to light that Deadshot is getting his own spin-off movie. Deadshot was played by Will Smith in Suicide Squad, and would be set to make his appearance as the deft assassin.

No more news as yet, but we suspect WB’s use of its more successful and less-divisive film could be an attempt to add a bit of stability to the DCU.

Suicide Squad netted around $325 million in the U.S, with another $420 million worldwide, for a grand total of $745.6 million.
