the boxtrolls. The action pixel. @theactionpixelStop motion animation can be as gruesome to make as it can be to watch. Hey, I know. I had the glorious opportunity to be a part of Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox, digging sand with my fingers to fill sand bags to weigh down equipment and running around London looking for blue transparent bar soap doing work experience.

But, when all’s said and done, when stop motion is done right, it is a beautiful thing. And just shows the amount of talent and work goes into crafting these scenes, from the animators, to set designers and modellers.
