“Star Wars Rebels” has been greenlit for Season 3

Great news, Padawans! Disney XD has recently announced that Star Wars Rebels has been renewed for a third all-new season, which is currently in production at Lucasfilm.

Honestly no surprise, seeing is the overall second most popular series on the channel, with a viewership of (1.3 million), Kids 6-11, Boys 6-11 and Boys 2-11. It’s however the channel’s #1 program among Adults 18-49 and Men 18-49.

Marc Buhaj, Senior Vice President, Programming and General Manager, Disney XD, had this to say about the announcement:
