Sound! Euphonium TV Anime Adaptation Confirmed

It’s been teased over the past few months that Sound! Euphonium was getting the anime treatment. There hasn’t been any real confirmation though in the Japanese media… until now. An anime adaptation is set for production, and the teaser trailer was broadcast during the Comiket convention by the producer Kyoto Animation. Although the release date will be announced next year, Sound! Euphonium is set for April broadcast in Japan.

The Hibike! Euphonium Kitauji Kōkō Suisōgaku-bu e Yōkoso novel, which Sound! Euphonium is based off of, is set around a student’s music club at the Kitauji High School who steadily improve under the new, stoic tutorage of a teaching advisor.
