A live-action adaptation of Voltron is reportedly in the works over at Universal (parent company of Dreamworks Animation). Not only that, but the project already has a scriptwriter in its employ- David Hayter- who is known for his work on the X-Men franchise and Watchmen.

Deadline reports that Tom Engleman (The Chronicles of Riddick, The Lone Ranger) is set to produce.
