“Ghost In The Shell” Official trailer released

After teasers, including the nod to the classic via Tokyo and the featurette, Paramount Pictures has unleashed the official trailer for Ghost In The Shell.

And there is definitely some visually arresting images in this here trailer, some forced (particularly the Tokyo scene). Also not entirely convinced of the particular soundtrack used, but we have to admit it looks like a more than decent start.

Description reads:

Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.

Ghost In The Shell is directed by Rupert Sanders and stars Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbaek, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche, Michael Pitt.
